Politics / Biden Killing Jobs
« Last post by YankeesFan1 on January 24, 2021, 11:24:53 AM »
In his first two days Biden killed off the Keystone Pipeline and in the process eliminated 70,000 jobs. Also Biden is reopening the borders so more illegals will be coming to America. He also increased welfare benefits, said that people who quit their jobs because of Covid can now get unemployment benefits, he raised the federal minimum wage to $15 an hour and also signed an executive order to allow the United States to send money to foreign countries to pay for abortions. Hard times are coming to Americans.

I am ready for the season to get started. Tampa Bay traded away their best pitcher in Snell to San Diego so this should make the Yankees the favorite in the AL East. Yanks also added pitcher Kory Kluber to the starting rotation.

And many more...

For some reason, our clock on the wall in the den has gotten behind by about a half-hour and I can never remember to reset it. So last night we finish dinner, watch a little tv and the wife says she's going on to bed. I've been watching this Smithsonian documentary series on military aircraft. I can't stop watching. Anyway, last night I drifted off to sleep sitting in my chair. When I woke up I looked at the clock on the wall and it was 11:55. I thought - I can ring in the new year. So I looked for something live on tv and then realized the clock was slow. I looked at my watch and it was 12:25. I thought "dang it, I missed it." So I turned the tv off, turned the lights out, took the dog out one last time for the night, and went to bed. Welcome, 2021!
