Brosville man beaten and robber, one arrested, three at-large
The Pittsylvania County Sheriff’s Office is seeking information on the whereabouts of three men wanted for robbery and breaking and entering with intent to commit robbery.
A press release indicates on July 24th 2012 the Pittsylvania County 911 center received a call at 451 Oakwood Drive in the Brosville Community reporting a man had been beaten and robbed. Deputies responded to the scene. The victim was later transported to the Memorial Hospital of Martinsville and later reported to investigators that four men had entered his home, beat him, attempted to bind him with duct tape and stole money from his residence.
Investigator Molly Motley tells us the victim was badly beaten with lacerations to his head, swelling to his face, and a black eye. Blood was found on his clothes and on the floor and down the hallway of his home.
DaShaye Simon was located by Henry County Sheriff’s office and arrested. He is currently being held in the Pittsylvania County Jail without bond.
Police are looking for 24 year-old Kevin Darel Preston, 21 year-old Charles “C.J.” Flood, Jr., and 18 year-old Delano “Trapman Banky” Cook.
